I've taken this pack out once and loved it. It functions as it should, had it weighted down with about 30 lbs of gear and it handled great. The padding on the straps was comfortable and it was roomy enough for cooking gear which included a 8" cast iron skillet, hammock, extra jacket, blanket, sportsman axe, collapsable cooler packed with food for a day for two. Also carried a first aide kit, two canteens, and some other smaller items I can't remember at the moment

Seams could be better but for the money it is a decent pack. The first one I purchase, the material that separates the sleeping bag compartment from the top stoarage area ripped at the seam when trying to pack the sleeping bag it in. I returned it and ordered another. Had to buy a compression bag for the sleeping bag and it fit but if you put too much pressure on the meterial, it seems like it will rip again. We go on a 13 mile hike at the top of the Palm Springs Tram in a couple of weeks and I will see how it holds up.

Great bag for traveling. This was the only bag that I took on my 10 day trip in Italy and it was perfect. The key is to throw all of your clothes and put her inside I was able to take a pair of sneakers, a pair of shorts 10 pair of socks 10 pair of underwear 8 t shirts, 2 polo shirts, 2 pair of pants, my GoPro and accessories, shampoo, deodorant cologne etc. Best thing about this bag is all the hidden pockets. I especially liked the hidden pocket on the bottom of the bag that's why I kept my passport and all other important documents. It was comfortable to carry around no complaints here. I think if it if you're traveling right this is perfect for the money!!
