For example, you want the number 13788889999 to be the master number, and your    password is 123456, then your message content as follow: "SN123456SET13788889999", then send to GSM socket. if set successfully, you will receive a message: "13788889999SETOK". Only      the master number can control the socket. The number will be reserved even power off.
2)Press the SET button, STA1 light will flash for about 30 seconds, during which you can dial the SIM card number of the GSM socket, and the socket will automatically hang up, then the    calling number will become the master number. The number will be reserved even power off.

The AC receptacles weren't properly aligned and wouldn't accept my power cords. I had to tweak an old extension cord to nudge them into compliance (narrowed the blades) and finally got them to accept. While this was not unexpected of an import product, I think the MFG could do better quality control. The cellular controls work like a champ, so far. Customer support provided better instructions, with more understandable English, almost immediately after my request. The unique nature of this product compels me to give 4 stars. I hope it stands the test of time.

I'm using an "Alarm SIM" SIM card. Very simple to set up and use. I wish the current limit was higher than 10 amps (per socket). I'm going to use this to control a relay to power my 1500 watt heater (13 amps).

This thing does work, and setup wasn't very difficult using some instructions I found elsewhere online. So in the end I still use the box and it works well.

I purchased this to use to turn on an airplane EZheater in a hanger Use tracfone SIM card and plan. Works great! I text the unit an hour or so before leaving my house, it texts back and says which outlets are on/off. Instructions were in broken English but was able to figure them out. Hardest part was getting SIM card turned on. Had to activate online, then verify the new phone number for the unit. Since the unit can't display phone numbers I was stuck for a bit. Tried calling tracfone couldn't get ahold of any human. Ended up going to the online account and found the phone number buried somewhere online in the account. After I verified the number it's been working great. Only use with text messages. Haven't tried calling the unit. No problems with cords heating up like other reviewer. Also no problems with outlets not turning on so far. Watch what the limits are for wattage etc on what you plug in. I also have it plugged into a surge protector just in case.

Been in constant use for approximately 18 months in a harsh environment (noxious fumes and dust and humidity) and has not skipped a beat. Would recommend it to anyone.

I was very hesitant on this purchase because there were ZERO reviews on it. However I'm very satisfied, I have a Synology Media Server that allows me to remotely watch movies & TV on my mobile devices and through web browsers but occasionally my router, modem, or even the Synology Server lock up. This device allows me to remotely reboot each device either one at a time or all together just by sending a text message! I purchased a prepaid T-Mobile SIM along with it. Initially I had quite a bit of confusion because the activation of the SIM on their website asks for the devices IMEI number but it doesn't have one for some reason, but I found an article stating to just put in all 9's which didn't work but then I tried replacing one of the 9's with a 1 and it finally accepted it! I don't have to use it often because my devices don't freeze up very often, but when one of them does this thing is a God send!!!
