is the warning noticeable and does this gauge comes with the meter pod?

  • Yes the warning sign is noticeable, there is a red light that comes on when the temperature rises too high, and no the guage does not come with the pod, you have to purchase it sepearately

I drive at night would this be to bright also how do i install this?

  • The light is perfect for night driving and how to install it is very easy just follow your instructions also make sure it's C or F temperature that meet your application

Several questions before buying it:1. does it include the "dash pod holder" as it is shown in the picuture? 2. will it be definitely showing celsius?

Just installed this gauge, 40 degrees Celsius is shown but it not varies. What could I've done wrong? Sensor resistance varies.

A

  • Ensure you have proper ground and that the sensor fully is in the coolant. Check coolant level. Ensure full voltage to the red pin

I'd like to use this on a UTV is it waterproof?

  • definitely not. it also became very inaccurate after about 5 months of use in my truck. i removed it and installed a different brand gauge.
