Pros:I was in doubt when I ordered if this will fit my Nikon D40's package 18-55 Non VR lens . . and when I received this item, it fits perfectly into the groove of the lens. The camera doesn't seem to auto-focus when this filter is fixed. But I guess the manual focus is also quite ok when you are looking at macro photography. Lens is good though I really don't know if I am getting a 8X zoom to the object..I might say Cons:There are no major cons to this product considering the amount which we pay for this lens Bottomline:Nice lens to try with, buy it and you will not regret. Its not for a professional, who is doing his day job with his camera. This is just for a happy amateur photographer, to try ways into macro photography
